Our Hygienists

Ramanvir moved to Canada from India in 2006 and pursued her ambition of becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Canadian Business College in Toronto in 2009 and joined the Panatella Team in 2010. In high school, Ramanvir was a champion swimmer in the women’s division. On Ramanvir’s bucket list would be to take a cruise, travel to Switzerland & she would love to learn how to scrapbook!

Tanya started in the dental field as a Dental Assistant, obtaining her certification from Columbia College in 2006. After spending some time as a Dental Assistant, Tanya chose to return to school to become a Dental Hygienist. After graduating from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene in 2010, she returned to Western Canada. Tanya is an avid country music listener, who would have guessed that her first concert was none other than Snoop Dog!! Tanya’s biggest fear is a snake, and if she could choose a superpower she would be invisible.

Kadian is a former Dental Assistant and received her diploma in Dental Hygiene from The Ontario Dental Education Institute in 2014. This empathetic, easy-going, independent gal’s first love is her son! She enjoys spending quality time at the soccer field watching her son play! Kadian’s first concert was Nicki Minaj, no wonder she loves pop and r&b music! She wouldn’t find herself stranded on an island without match sticks, a bag of potatoes and a big machete!

As a hygienist since 2009, Linda is a great addition to the team at Panatella Dental. Her years of experience has allowed her to continue perfecting her care for everyone she meets, and is well loved by everyone. In her personal life you’ll find wonderful tales of travelling the globe, with hiking Machu Picchu and a visit to Greece in her sights. One of her craziest experiences in life was flying a plane, with a little help.

Harpreet began in dentistry as a dental surgeon in India before moving to Canada in 2016. She transitioned to becoming a dental hygienist in 2019 while living in Fernie, BC. Her young family is the best part of her life, as she spends time listening to Indian pop music and cooking traditional dishes. Being an adventurous person has taken Harpreet to cliff diving into one of India’s deepest rivers, without knowing how to swim and simply relying on a life jacket!

Panatella Dental welcomed Lisa to the team after she graduated with her Advanced Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 2024, from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. She dreams of traveling the globe, seeing floating lanterns and ice skating on a large frozen lake. Her travels have already brought her to Kenya during her time in hygiene school to paragliding in Switzerland! Her favourite movies are anything Disney or Marvel, with The Amazing Spiderman at the top of her list. Which is ironic because her biggest fear is spiders!

Panatella Dental is excited to welcome Huisu Kim (pronounced Hee-su) to our hygiene team. A recent graduate, Huisu brings hands-on patient care experience and a caring, organized approach to every appointment.

Born in Korea and raised in Calgary, Huisu enjoys traveling with her older brother—one of their most memorable trips was to Kyoto, Japan, and Europe is next on the list. Outside the clinic, she’s a foodie and a baker, with macarons and cheesecake among her specialties, and loves spending time camping by the fire with music and roasted marshmallows.

Huisu is also a musician at heart, enjoying singing, dancing, and playing guitar in her spare time. She dreams of taking cooking classes in cuisines she’s never tried, and if she could have a superpower, it would be teleportation—so she could explore the world at a moment’s notice. Caring, optimistic, and organized, Huisu is thrilled to be part of the Panatella Dental team.

Panatella Dental is pleased to welcome Nyshal to the hygiene team. A Registered Dental Hygienist, Nyshal is early in her career and brings a compassionate, honest approach to patient care, along with a strong focus on comfort and wellness.

Originally from the Fiji Islands, Nyshal is a proud cat mom to two adored felines and has a soft spot for animals of all kinds. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her staying active—whether it’s fitness training, playing soccer, or chasing her next adrenaline rush. Skydiving is already checked off her list… and she’d happily do it again (her mom may disagree).

Nyshal loves The Lion King and Avatar: The Last Airbender, dreams of traveling the world—with Turkey at the top of her list—and says if she ever had a superpower, it would be shooting fire from her fingertips. Bold choice, but it fits her resilient spirit.

Outside of the clinic, Taminah loves travelling and exploring new places, with Dubai high on her bucket list. She has a spontaneous side – once planning a trip overnight and catching a flight the very next morning. While she would love to have a pet, allergies keep her admiring animals from a distance.

Taminah enjoys getting lost in fantasy books, though her music taste leans toward UK drill – a fun contrast she fully embraces. If she could have a superpower, it would be mind-reading.

Outside of the clinic, Kareena has a strong passion for dance, fitness, and the arts. She enjoys going to the gym, practicing Pilates, and expressing her creativity as a freelance beauty artist. One of her most memorable accomplishments was climbing Guatapé Rock in Colombia in just 14 minutes – a true testament to her drive and determination. While she handles life’s challenges with confidence, moths are one thing she prefers to avoid.

Natalia has a natural sense of humor and values being around people who enjoy laughter as much as she does. She enjoys reading psychological books and loves the film Eat Pray Love. Describing herself as kind, friendly, and reliable, Natalia treasures time with her son above all else. If she could have a superpower, it would be mind-reading — though her ability to connect with patients already gives her a pretty strong head start.
