Our Assistants

Bonsitu has come to Calgary from her native Ethiopia. She has a large family, being one of six siblings. Her career options were either nursing or dental assisting and as she grows in the field she hopes to advance her career to become a dental hygienist. Bonsitu is always looking to challenge herself and learn new things, this is one of the reasons she enjoys being a dental assistant. In addition, she enjoys challenging herself with photography. The one thing she cannot live without is her family, with her mom being her hero.

Milka has been an excellent part of our team for a few years now and has a love for healthcare. Before becoming a dental assistant Milka had dreams of becoming a nurse or doctor. Milka is kind and caring in all aspects of her life, she is always ready to help those around her. She loves anything chocolate and in her spare time she enjoys yoga and hiking. When it’s time to kick back and relax you can find Milka listening to the cello, classical music, and sometime some pop music mixed in. Milka hopes to one day travel through Europe to experience everything it has to offer!

Arline’s career in dentistry began in 2017 as a sterilization assistant, in 2023 she returned to school to become a dental assistant. Outside of work, Arline’s favourite time is without a doubt spent with her three children. Cheering on at basketball games, rewatching Marvel’s Black Panther or simply exploring the sites Calgary and area has to offer. Taking her kids to Disneyland is on the top of her bucket list.

Sheena is our resident Sterilization Technician, and has spent the past 10 years working in the Dental Industry. Not only is Sheena a certified Pharmacy Assistant, but she is also a licensed Hair Stylist & a fraternal twin! Sheena enjoys living a healthy active lifestyle, and has recently taken up the game of golf. Fun fact about Sheena, she has NEVER been on a rollercoaster!

Moina is a valued member of our dental assisting team at Panatella Dental. She brings energy, warmth, and a caring approach to every patient she meets.

Outside of work, Moina loves spending time with her black lab, Diesel, who never says no to new friends, long walks, or belly rubs. She’s also an adventurer at heart—her bucket list includes skydiving, swimming with sharks in Hawaii, and celebrating Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

Fun fact: The craziest thing she’s ever done was cliff jumping into icy glacier waters in Kananaskis while white-water rafting. She swears it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing!

If Moina had a superpower, it would be flying—because let’s face it, traffic these days could use a little shortcut.

Jaden is a valued member of our dental team at Panatella Dental, bringing reliability, care, and a positive energy to every patient interaction. She has loved the dental field since childhood and is thrilled to be living her dream. Outside of work, Jaden enjoys dancing, singing (even if she admits she’s not the best at it), and spending time with her family and her five fish.

Her adventurous spirit has already taken her and her family to the Philippines, where they had an entire island to themselves! Jaden’s bucket list includes traveling the world, and she dreams of exploring new cultures and experiences. Fun fact: she’s had two concussions in the span of three months—but it hasn’t slowed her down! If she could have a superpower, it would be reading minds.

Jaden’s favorite holidays are Christmas and Halloween, and her go-to movie is To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Three words that describe her best? Outgoing, caring, and considerate.

Outside of work, Jasen enjoys travelling (especially when food is involved), dancing, and competitive gaming. He participates in regional esports competitions and practices dance styles such as popping and house. This year, he’s also taken up reading, aiming to finish two books each month. His bucket list includes learning new languages, picking up piano again, and trying exciting adventures — just nothing involving heights.

Known for his witty and outgoing personality, Jasen describes himself in three words: witty, extroverted, and hungry. If he could have a superpower, it would be teleportation to skip traffic and stay connected to the people who matter most — especially his biggest inspirations, his parents.
